The success of the Marcum Desk project led to built-in file cabinets and bookcases in the client’s home office. The office room had two large alcoves that were ideal to be fitted with file drawers, topped with walnut countertops and bookcases. We retained the natural edges of the walnut as a design element, resulting in a simple but elegant look that is repeated in natural crown moldings. The drawer pull design of the desk was repeated for the file drawers. The end result was a beautiful and functional home office made from meaningful family walnut.
